Lindsay Woodruff | About
Welcome!

I’ve been taking pictures & shooting video since I was very young, but I did not always see photography or video as an art form. For me it was more a recreation, a way to explore and record what interested me. When I first began using photography as a means of creating art I used it to document my installation and performance pieces. I love that photography, video, web art, are so accessible and easy to show and share. I have realized that photography has been the most consistent form of art making that I have used in all the years I have been making art.

I am interested in making images of all sorts of things - nature, people, animals, objects, places, textures, and moments. Primarily I am drawn to playing with color and textures in these images.

Currently, I teach traditional film methods & digital photography, filmmaking, and fine art at Moravian Academy in Bethlehem, PA. I live in Easton PA in a colorful house with my husband Jess and ~ the source of many inspired pictures ~ my very photogenic son Sampson.
